Administration Department

The Administration function in Elizabeth Michael is responsible for all payroll, accounting, reception and general administration work required to support our business and our temporary workers and clients. Our colleagues are never less than busy processing a large weekly payroll and handling all our secretarial and accounting tasks.

SALLY HOSKEN - ASSOCIATE

I joined Elizabeth Michael as a Telemarketing Executive, enjoying the challenge of generating new business, and developing the relationships with our existing clients.

As much as I found this work rewarding, I also discovered that other aspects of the business particularly intrigued me, and I found myself compelled to offer to help in administration tasks across the office, becoming involved in the advertising of roles, credit control and anything else that I could try my hand at.

Eventually, I realised that I so enjoyed this new aspect of my role that I was delighted to be offered the opportunity by our Managing Director John Hyde to join the Administration Team on a permanent basis, -  and here I am!

After working in the Sales and Marketing arena for more years than I care to recall, mostly abroad, I am finding this a refreshing change and thrive on the constant demands of the role.

When I am not at work, I like to relax with a glass of wine and playing with my Xbox 360 and PS3, going to the cinema and trying local restaurants with my fiancé, Patrick.

GILLY BIDDLESTONE - RECEPTIONIST

After leaving school at the mere age of 16, I went to college to study professional catering and hospitality where I gained many catering qualifications including NVQ level 3 in Restaurant Management and my licensee certificate.

After 7 ½ years of hard work in the industry, I needed a change and I went to work for a large cable telecommunications company. Whilst looking for permanent work through Elizabeth Michael I was delighted to be offered a permanent position here as Receptionist.

I enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life, it makes my role here at Elizabeth Michael all the more interesting and as I am the first point of contact it is my smiley face that greets you as you enter our offices!

I live in Arnold with my husband Rich and I have a new baby son Josh and a step daughter Holli-Ann who keeps us entertained most weekends.

When I get any spare time I like to socialise with friends and family, I also enjoy dining out, going to the cinema, the theatre and to concerts.

I love going on holiday and seeing the world, I also enjoy swimming and the odd game of badminton but you will never catch me in the gym!

 

KATY MALLON

Katy MallonI am a mature student at the University of Derby, midway through my teaching degree that will hopefully send me to a career in Primary School teaching.

Having been born and spent my formative years in Nottingham, I subsequently moved to Cheltenham and came back home two years ago.

I came into Elizabeth Michael over two years ago who found me a permanent job after a number of great temporary assignments.

This summer I have the pleasure of working with the Elizabeth Michael team. I am enjoying it thoroughly and have never been associated with such a hard working, friendly and very happy group. I actually look forward to coming to work!

In my spare time I enjoy going to the cinema, running and playing on the PS3.
