steveWelcome to the HR Advisory Division of Elizabeth Michael. Our objective is to help our clients be more profitable through their people.

We were stuck for a bit about what to call ourselves, HR and Personnel were obviously leading contenders but we decided our best point of reference is what we will do rather than what we are called.
 
Organisations have to constantly evolve to be ahead of the game, by organisations read “people”, because it is this resource that provides ideas and innovation, customer service and ultimately the productivity that keeps costs competitive, protects a margin and sustains the business in business.
 
A quality Human Resource or Personnel service will pride itself on adding value to the business in many ways, not least by taking a lead role in the areas outlined above.
 
We will support our clients in three ways
  • People and Policies- Providing advice with day to day people issues, improving communication and process effectiveness and enhancing your policies with the objectives of clarity, risk avoidance, high performance and people engagement.
     
  • Projects-Providing consultancy on larger scale business activities such as mergers, redundancies, staff surveys and other business change programmes.
     
  • Profit- helping your Line Management, HR team and people to contribute more directly to your business objectives and profit margin.
I have 30 years HR experience in Local Government, the Print Industry, Retail, Legal Services and most recently with Experian. I serve on the local branch committee of my professional institute, the CIPD and am an invited member of the UK Work Organisation Network, a national coalition which provides access to contemporary international thinking about future influences at work. As a great advocate of Corporate Social Responsibility I am a former chair of the Nottingham Area Board for Young Enterprise and served on the project team at Experian that achieved ISO 14001, the European standard for environmental management.
 
Elizabeth Michael’s HR Advisory Service will work closely with our other divisions, particular recruitment and training to ensure a comprehensive and integrated service to our clients.
