Blog 9 – 21/07/11
Hi everyone,
For the past month I have been continuing on placement, which I am still enjoying very much! I’ve been involved in a lot of different nursing care and have learnt a lot from the experience so far. My two mentors are very supportive and it has been a pleasure to learn from talented people with such great knowledge.
I received my results for the 2 exams I took within my decision making module. I managed to gain a 1st and a 2:2, both of which I am pleased with. I have been worrying since my exam as I found it to be the hardest test throughout the year but it seems the worrying was all for nothing.
All I have to do now is pass my placement and I will carry on into the second year! I am so desperate to finish the first year as it seems so close and as though I just have the last hurdle to complete.
If the first year goes this quick, it is scary to think how fast the next two years are going to go by and the prospect of qualifying and stepping into the working world.
