Our Nurse to Be - June 2011
Blog 8 – 25/6/11
Hi All,
I am currently on placement in a Children’s Ward and I am thrilled to say I absolutely love it. I have only been there a week but have learnt so much already. Personally, I prefer placement as I feel I learn more and can relate to what is being taught as I get to see it for myself.
I have been given my results back for my public health assignment and I managed to pass with a mark of 70! I was over the moon with this result as it has been a very stressful year so far and I’m pleased to know my hard work paid off.
The course is starting to get even more intense as we prepare to progress into our second year. However, it is in our best interest at year 2 looks as though it’s going to be tough. Through all of this I still feel very privileged to be in the position I am and couldn’t be happier with my course and the university I am at.
Until next time,
Sam.
