Job Details: Operations Manager

Our client provides on-line digital printing systems to the food, pharmaceutical, DIY and other industries.

Their product contain patented, unique award winning technology providing "best in class" performance allowing a sustained competitive advantage in the market place.

Their customers range from small family owned businesses to multi national corporations. Both require a high standard of pre and post sale support.

They have shown sustained and consistent growth since their inception in 2001, the company expects their growth to be sustained into the near and mid term.

Location: Sherwood Business Park (2 minutes from Junction 27, M1)
Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (increased to £40,000 when targets agreed)

Overview:

* Inspiring and motivating a business unit to achieve the production plan and operational targets
* Identifying and driving improvement activities across the full range of performance  indicators: efficiency, quality, waste, safety, customer satisfaction, attendance and costs.
* Delivering business process improvements
* Delivering continuous improvements and programmes
* Managing existing personnel to reach their maximum potential
* Understand the operation and functionality of the SAO system to a high level
* Managing administrations, finance and technical teams
* Excellent people management skills
* Able to manage a busy team
* A good understanding of financial processes
* Good IT literacy
* Dealing effectively with escalated customer complaints
* Self motivated team player
* Capable of identifying, prioritising and delegating operational activities
* Direct reports total 20
