Temporary Team

I have been in the recruitment industry, an industry that I absolutely love, since November 2001 following my graduation from Staffordshire University and I now regard Nottingham as my “home town” as I was originally brought up in Macclesfield, Cheshire.

After nearly 10 years in the recruitment industry, I believe that it is safe to say that I have gained a substantial level of expertise and a broad knowledge of the business and the opportunity to build lasting and loyal relationships with my temporary workers and clients is unquestionably a hugely satisfying element of my work here at Elizabeth Michael.

I have always managed a temporaries department and I absolutely thrive on the fast pace and the challenges that arise on a daily basis.

 

Creating solutions and witnessing the satisfaction and delight that my hard work engenders from my clients and temporary workers is definitely the most rewarding aspect of my job, and it certainly helps that my outgoing, gregarious personality blends perfectly with the fact that I am constantly meeting people from a range of different backgrounds, who have a variety of career and personal ambitions.

 

My main interests, outside of work, are socialising, eating out, going to concerts and attending the gym (when I can fit it in!).

ANNA WINFIELD - CONSULTANT

After 7 years of working within the hotel industry, a career that I entered following the completion of my Leisure and Tourism GNVQ at college, I was ready for a change of career and was delighted to be provided with an opportunity to enter the world of recruitment.

I have been within the industry since August 2007 and after posting my CV on a job site was contacted by our Managing Director John Hyde to discuss an available role within the Temporaries Division of Elizabeth Michael and after several meetings I was thrilled to be offered an associate role.

 

It is just as well that I love being busy as I can categorically state that each day flies unbelievably quickly as we work tirelessly to fill all of our available temporary assignments by the required deadlines!

 

I also have constant contact with temporary workers and clients so this is a perfect role for me as I so enjoy interacting with people and helping to find solutions!

 

This position also gives me the opportunity to learn new aspects of the recruitment industry, particularly temporary staffing, as I am constantly adding to my skills and knowledge base which is very important to me – and of course to my colleagues, temporary staff and clients!
 
In my spare time I enjoy seeing my family and friends, watching films, reading Martina Cole books and of course going out and generally having a good time.
